One of my January Goals has been to finally bring our website to the Fediverse. To do this, we needed a rehost and an update, and I'm happy to report that all that work is now complete and our little KPop Community site will now talk to the Fedi via the Wordpress ActivityPub plugin.
After some chats within our community, and following the discussions going on in the Fediverse, I’ve decided that Apobangpo will not federate with Threads for the time being, so I have preemptively suspended the domain.
A few days ago I asked the community to vote in a poll, and/or leave comments about sharing of photos of Jin during his Military service on the Apobangpo.space Timeline. The results are in, and we've decided not to allow those types of images, except when the artist/agency publishes them personally.
Happy to announce, that after a month of beta testing with our little community of pioneers, Apobangpo signups are now public and everyone is welcome to come and join in on the fun!
In the last 24hrs we've had a big spike in signups to our waiting list. Woohoo!! So, I thought I would post something with a bit more information for those who are just learning about Apobangpo.Space and Mastodon.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on all the bits and pieces to make the Apobangpo.Sites and get ready for an epic ARMY experiment.
